This one-act ballet opera, only performed once in Versailles in 1745, tells the story of Fatime and Ramire. It is one of Rameau's lesser-known works, based on his earlier comédie-ballet “La Princesse de Navarre” with a libretto shortened by Voltaire and an overture added by Jean-Jacques Rousseau.
