This short effective piece would be a pleasure to rehearse and perform by any wind orchestra. It begins with a simple one-part melody by the trumpets, and is gradually joined by all other parts. In the middle of the fanfare, a very quiet moment is reached which, in a broad crescendo, leads to a bombastic ending.
