The Bavarian State Library in Munich made a quite sensational discovery in 2007: a previously unknown Lied for Voice (soprano) and Piano by Franz Liszt was found, which he had written down himself. The work shows Liszt at his best, it was composed in 1843 and dedicated to Count Franz von Pocci from Munich.
