"Frisch gestrichen" deals in its second volume with the different fingerings of the 1st position. At the end of the volume, the violin and viola have the first two fingerings, the cello and double bass the entire 1st position. Initially still in unison, the cheeky, sad and thoughtful songs gradually change into polyphony. There are also piano accompaniments for most of the songs.

Of course, the edition can be used not only for class music-making, but also as a supplement to any string school.
