Published as a first edition by Markus Möllenbeck with a continuo realization by Wolfgang Kostujak. The three-movement work (Largo–poco Allegro–Allegretto) was probably composed during Graun's time with Crown Prince Frederick (1735–1759), the later Prussian King Frederick the Great.
„Graun's sonata can be played entirely in the neck positions plus octave, it consists mainly of offsets, but is certainly an interesting piece for players who are not yet so advanced. The new Walhall editions are very valuable additions to the repertoire, I strongly recommend them!
