The first complete critical edition of the keyboard works by Giovanni Maria Trabaci concludes here with the Secondo Libro. In 1615 Trabaci was forty years old and still had ahead of him thirty-two years of musical activity and creativity. From this long period no other keyboard works are known but only compositions of vocal music, already copious from the preceding period, and from the study of which an overall comprehension of his musical personality can be obtained.
