The Final "Te Deum", a composition for organ in three parts, was inspired by Pope John-Paul Il´s visit to the basilica Sacré Coeur du Montmartre in Paris. Its thematic material is derived from the Ambrosian hymn "Te Deum laudamus ". This brilliant and extensive organ phantasy was composed by Daniel Roth, organist of Saint Sulpice, Paris and professor at the Staatliche Musikhochschule, Saarbrücken.
Mr. Roth, one of the best-known contemporary organists, and winner of numerous international prizes and distinctions, has made many recordings and international concert tours.
