The aim of the series is to support beginners teaching solo singing, répétiteurs and, above all, all those who enjoy singing. A selection of songs from six different European languages and from all musical epochs between the 16th century and the middle of the 20th century has been chosen for this purpose. This selection refreshes the well-known song repertoire with new pieces and thus really broadens the musical horizon. It also presents a unique aid to rehearsing and interpreting the songs through the use of modern technology.
The three volumes of the series are ranked according to difficulty and all three volumes are available for both high (a series) and low voice (b series). Each volume offers songs in all six languages (English, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish) and spans the musical arc between the early Baroque and the 20th century. The Hungarian and English translations of the song texts serve to improve understanding. Reading the Cyrillic letters is made easier by phonetic transcriptions - which follow the Hungarian or English pronunciation. The baroque songs have been supplemented in the editions with ornamentation recommendations.

The Minstrel's Request
There was a jolly miller
Pierre-Alexandre Monsigny, Jean-Francois de La Harpe: Oh, my gentle musette
Girolamo Frescobaldi: A proud look from Licori
Francesco Cavalli, Nicolo Minato: Sighs of Fire
Alessandro Stradella: Thus, Love, you make me languish
Giacomo Antonio Perti: I should not hope
Joseph Haydn, Gotthold Ephraim Lessing: The Praise of Laziness (HOB.
