Diamond Reflections was composed to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Band at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. The work progresses from a somber, militaristic intro to a jovial symphonic ending, exploring various ensemble colors along the way. The U.S. Air Force Song is suggested throughout the work and the Air Force Hymn, Lord, Guard & Guide, makes an appearance as a trumpet solo and horn soli.
