With a Guggenheim Fellowship, Ives Scholarship and the Prix de Rome behind him, Biscardi, one of the young American "wunderkind," has composed a work that he calls " a celebration of the contrasting sonorities (incisive/lyrical) which are naturally and dramatically suggested by the piano."
