Composed for the unusual combination of Flute and Tuba, ODD BEDFELLOWS may also be performed with Bassoon. Movement 1 is titled “At the Hippo Watering Hole,” and is full of scenic imagery. The beautiful Movement 2 takes place “Among the Pine Barrens” and features tuneful Tuba writing in its tenor register from middle C up to G.
