Two Composers, Four Hands by Roxanna Panufnik is a 15-minute work for double string orchestra. It was commissioned to celebrate the centenaries of two of Poland's most eminent 20 century composers: Witold Luto?awski (2013) and Roxanna Panufnik’s father, Andrzej Panufnik (2014). The three movements are titled Lutolawski, Panufnik and LutoPanufski. The first two movements capture the musical essence of each composer and the third remembers affectionately the famous piano duo the two composers formed in Warsaw, during the Second World War with variations on a humorous Polish folk song A Pos?a niewiasta (from the Kraków region).
