Korngold's Violin Concerto Op. 35 is among the five violin concertos most frequently played in music history. There is hardly a violin virtuoso, hardly an outstanding conductor who does not have this work in his or her repertoire. From January 2019 onwards, the printed edition of the piano reduction contains two solo parts: the original part and a solo part with fingerings and bowings by Florin Iliescu.
