Georg Christoph Billers erste der "Drei Motetten", "Hiobs Botschaft" (2014), gibt die Erzählung des biblischen Hiob wieder: Hiobs Gottestreue wird mit schweren Leiden auf den Prüfstand gestellt. Die Motette für sechs- bis achtstimmigen gemischten Chor, Solo-Bariton und Bassinstrument (ad libitum) zeugt von einem autobiografischen Hintergrund des Komponisten.
