A 30 minute, 7 movement work exploring the life and work of the patron saint of Wales, St David. There are three reflections in Welsh on themes of St David's last sermon, three Psalms in Latin, and a poem about the saint in English translation (Good Night, House of Dewi). The style is characterised by syncopated brass and lots of pulsing strings, with polyrhythmic African style percussion underpinning the chorus.
