The organ solo based upon the familiar tune St. Columba was to Wright"an appropriate expression of faith and fidelity to help celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of Marlene Baver as Assistant Organist to Dr. Philip Brunelle, Director of Music at the Plymouth Congregational Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota." The work was written at the request of Dr. Brunelle and is dedicated to Marlene Baver, a former student of the composer who died suddenly while composition of this work was still underway.
