Following our recent publication of Liebermann's Four Etudes on Songs of Brahms, Presser is excited to share the composer's Four Etudes on Songs of Robert Franz. While not as well-known as Schubert and Schumann, Robert Franz was a prolific composer of German lieder in the early-to-mid 19th century. Liebermann's etudes on four of Franz's songs retain the original works' charm and style, adding pianistic texturing and depth.
