Recorded on the Hutchings-Votey organ (1907) at St. James Cathedral, Seattle. St James' turn-of-the-century organ provides the ideal sound for this program of German (and Germanic-style) organ works. The generous acoustics of the cathedral enhance the sound of an organ which is rich in fundamental, and can project soaring melodies in the treble.
